Sapling
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Sapling is the world's first spoken word video game!
It falls into the genre of "walking simulator" games. These games focus on narrative, immersion, and atmosphere instead of action, puzzles, and objectives.
We believe the relaxing and immersive atmosphere combined with the emotion of the story will provide a memorable experience for players.
This game was developed as a part of the "I Can't Write But I Want to Tell a Story" game jam hosted by charlmes.

Hey I posted this in discord but wanted to say it here too! I just finished playing your game and was rewarded with a soulful, sweet, kind, and beautiful experience. I’m grateful you and your team chose to make this and share it with us, it really hit the spot and made me smile. Looking forward to seeing your other creations!
Also, I love your voice. It’s like hot cocoa for my ears. Thanks again!
Thank you for saying this! The goal of this jam was to reach one person with the experience you described
Mission accomplished but that's no reason to stop working
